Opportunities for Visiting Researchers and International Students

The Nawaz Lab welcomes international researchers at all levels, including PhD exchange students, visiting researchers, and postdoctoral researchers who may bring competitive scholarships such as DAAD, Erasmus Mundus, Marie Skłodowska-Curie, and similar programs. We are also open to collaborating on joint (fellowship or grant)applications.

If you are enthusiastic about learning how cells in our body communicate under healthy and disease conditions and how this communication influences biological functions in the context of metabolic diseases, you are welcome to send a short cover letter outlining your prior laboratory experience to: muhammad.nawaz@gu.se


(i) Understanding disease through extracellular vesicles (EVs) and translating this knowledge for developing new class of precision therapeutics, (ii) Develop EVs as programmable carriers of nucleic acid-based drugs including siRNA, antisense oligonucleotides and CRISPR system, for the delivery of treatments to specific cells and tissues.
